Function:

The Pratoline Wireless Alarm Step Mat provides high security and relief when monitoring patients at risk of falling. The alarm step mat with wireless transmitter is placed under a rug or a floor mat in front of the bed. This alerts caregivers and attendants when the patient gets out of bed. The melodies are adjustable on the transmitter. Visual call signal receiver small with 1 LED (red) + Receiver large with 3 LEDs (blue) as a call signal (flashing) as well as 1 LED (red) as a warning light for weak batteries.

The wireless alarm step mat cannot prevent falls and personal assistance is always still required when the care recipient gets up and needs to be accompanied. It is an aid for caregiving and does not replace the duty of supervision.
