The reliable, self-explanatory, and mobile system for early warning if a person attempts to leave the bed.

Radio bed exit alarm without receiver. Can be combined with all our radio receivers and radio-controlled sockets.

This bed exit alarm allows for the monitoring of "sleepwalkers" and "runaways" and also serves as a bed exit warning system and dementia elopement protection.

Two "bed exit sensors" (pressure sensor strips) are placed transversely between the mattress and the fitted sheet in the shoulder and hip areas.

The system is automatically activated approximately 10 seconds after the bed is occupied (body pressure). (Optionally, the radio-controlled socket is switched off – lights out!)

When the person needing care (or the sleepwalker) leaves the bed, the radio signal is triggered by relieving the pressure on the sensor strips. Caregivers and/or assistants are alerted.

The sensors in the mattress precisely detect when the bed is left, while normal sleep movements do not trigger an alarm.

An alert is issued approximately 3-4 seconds after the pressure is relieved and the bed is left.

• 2 x high-quality, only about 2 mm thin special pressure sensor with connection cable for the attachable SMART radio transmitter (433 MHz)

Function:

• The three sensor strips must be positioned transversely under the fitted sheet in the back area. Only after the safe relief of the pressure sensor strips (4 seconds) is the caregiver informed via a radio signal to the receiver.
• The freedom of movement of the cared-for person in front of the bed is not restricted.

• This range specification refers to the so-called "open field range" (range with direct line of sight between transmitter and receiver, without interfering influences). In practical use, however, walls, ceilings, etc. are between the transmitter and receiver, which correspondingly reduces the range.

The radio bed exit alarm cannot prevent falls, and personal assistance is still needed when getting up and accompanying the person in care. It is an aid to care and does not replace the duty of supervision.
