Pratoline Wireless Alarm Mats for Seniors – Sleepwalkers – Safety in Daily Life
Two important assistive devices for people with wandering tendencies are bed exit alarms and sensor mats. Both products serve for fall prevention and movement monitoring in people who leave their bed or home – for example in nursing homes or home care settings.
The alarm mat (also known as bell mat, contact mat or sensor mat) immediately notifies care staff or family members, when a person gets up or leaves the area. Different sizes (Standard 70×40 cm and XL 140×40 cm, XXL 210x40 cm) make them flexible to use – for example as bedside mats or door mats.
The wireless alarm mat with pluggable smart wireless transmitters is placed under a rug and automatically activates a wireless signal to the receiver when stepped on. This way caregivers or family members are immediately informed – simply and reliably.

Technical Details
Our Pratoline Wireless Alarm Mat doesn't need WiFi. It uses a 433 MHz wireless signal that is only briefly transmitted when the pressure sensor mat is activated. During constant load (standing on the mat) the wireless transmitter repeats the signal for approximately 20 seconds and is then ready for reactivation when the mat is stepped on again.
The SMART Wireless Transmitter Module from Pratoline developed by us is programmable for different wireless protocols and can therefore be combined with different ring tone receivers.
The wireless range in open field is up to 150 m. Indoors the wireless range depends on the building structure. The wireless range can be extended with optional range extenders. Via a WiFi adapter, unlimited alarm monitoring over the internet is also possible.
The pluggable SMART wireless transmitter operates with a standard CR2032 button cell battery. The battery life naturally depends on the number of transmitter activations. We recommend replacing the button cell at least every 6 months. The SMART wireless transmitter signals with a change in ring tone when it's time to replace the battery. By unplugging the wireless transmitter module, the bell mat can be completely turned off.
Available Sizes
The alarm mats with approximately 1 m cable with jack connector for the transmitter module are manufactured by us in standard size approximately 70 x 40 cm, XL size 140 x 40 cm and in the special size XXL 210 x 40 cm. The transmitter module can thus be conveniently positioned outside the stepping area, for example under the bed.
All components of the wireless alarm mat sets are repairable/replaceable, so that even outside the warranty period the reliable function can be restored cost-effectively and quickly.
